Checkers is a fast strategy game played on dark squares: capture all of your opponent's pieces or leave them with no legal move.
How to play
- Press Play Now and pick the computer or challenge a friend.
- Click a piece, then click a highlighted square to move it diagonally forward.
- Jump over an opponent's piece to capture it.
Rules
- Pieces move one square diagonally forward onto empty dark squares.
- Reach the far row and your piece becomes a king that can move backwards too.
- You win when your opponent has no pieces or no moves left.
Tips
- Keep your back row filled for as long as you can to stop enemy kings.
- Control the centre of the board.
